Short version: this site has no analytics, no advertising scripts and no tracking cookies. We don't collect personal data.

What our server records

Like any web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser user agent, page requested, time). These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure and are deleted on a rolling basis.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies. The tools on the site (the bowl finder and the eating-speed timer) run entirely in your browser and don't send your answers anywhere. The eating-speed timer saves your recorded times in your browser's local storage so they survive a page reload; they never leave your device, and the timer's "Clear" button deletes them. Email you send us via the contact page is used only to reply.

When you click a "Check price on Amazon" link, you leave this site. Amazon may set cookies to attribute your purchase to our affiliate account; that is governed by Amazon's privacy notice. See our affiliate disclosure.

Search engines

We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, which give us aggregated search statistics (queries and clicks). They don't identify individual visitors to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
